Digital Voice drop-in sessions, Volunteers Urgently Wanted - Merseyside |
||
Hello,
We are currently organising a range of events across Merseyside to coincide with the BT Digital Switchover which will be happening across the country and affecting some of our most vulnerable in our community. Neighbourhood Watch is currently looking for people to come forward to help run these events. You would receive FULL support and training and it is a fantastic opportunity to help others within your community to feel well informed and confident to know what will be happening, what it involves and what is expected of them. This helps reduce the likelihood that they will be scammed and confused with mis-information. If you live around the following areas and are free on the dates stated, YOU could be that key person who could be a volunteer for us in this project. All of the venues are already booked and the essentials are all covered, you would get travel expenses too. We have already run 30 events in Lancashire, Cumbria and Cheshire with Greater Manchester to run in July 2025.
Your local events are: Allerton Library - 30th May (1-4pm) Chidwall Library - 5th June (11-2pm) Kensington Library - 29th May (11-2pm) Liverpool Central Library - 6th June (11-2pm) Norris Green Library - 30th May (11-2pm) Walton Life Rooms - 4th June (11-2pm) Wavertree Library - 3rd June (2pm-5pm) Fazakerley Library - 6th June (11-2pm) Spellow Library - 29th May (11-2pm) Sefton Park Library - 11th June (11-2pm) If you feel that you would like to take part in this exciting partnership between NHW and BT in helping to support local drop-in events across Merseyside, do get in touch with me using the email below to find out more. Please also state which event would be your preference.
